Complex Analysis and Potential Theory with Applications
£ 55.00
Editors: T. Aliev, A. Golberg, S.V. Rogosin
The 9th ISAAC Congress (International Society for Analysis its Application and Computation) was held in Krakow, Poland in August 2013 and this volume comprises the proceedings of two sessions: Complex Variables and Potential Theory and Complex-analytic Methods for Applied Sciences. These sessions focused on: boundary value problems for harmonic, analytic, generalized analytic and monogenic functions in plane domains as well as in domains in higher dimensional spaces. Questions on conformal and quasi-conformal mapping and approximation in complex domains were also considered and discussed. All of the mathematical problems discussed were motivated and applied to the study of particular models in mechanics of elasticity theory, composite materials, hydrodynamics, wave propagation and other problems of mathematical physics.
